Start a Study in Conversation

This page explains the key steps and best practices for this feature in Wejot.

In Wejot, a study does not start with “create a survey”. It starts with a research request.

You only need to describe what you are trying to understand. Through multiple turns of conversation, Wejot will progressively turn the request into a complete, executable study.

You can begin with very simple inputs, for example:

  • I want to know whether the new feature actually solved users’ pain points.
  • We plan to adjust pricing—what is users’ acceptance level?
  • People disagree on a new concept in the market. I want to validate real attitudes.

These do not need to be formal research statements. They are simply your current hypothesis.

Wejot does not produce a “final plan” in one shot. Instead, it works with you through multiple turns to clarify:

  • Whether the research goal is clear
  • Whether the problem should be split or rephrased
  • Whether you need a survey to collect new information

Each turn moves the study closer to an executable state.

As the goal becomes clearer, Wejot turns it into a complete workflow:

  1. Question: what you truly want to validate
  2. Survey: generate and iteratively improve the survey structure
  3. Sample: confirm target audience and sample size
  4. Insight: help interpret results based on real data

No need to jump across tools. The entire process stays in one conversation thread.

You can begin from different types of inputs:

  • A sentence: describe your research request
  • A document: upload an existing brief, plan, or draft survey
  • A link: provide an existing survey or a reference page

Wejot will identify what can be used and take it as the start of the conversation.

Behind the scenes, Wejot decomposes your input into research steps such as:

  • Decide whether a survey is needed to fill information gaps
  • Break down objectives into key questions
  • Generate a discussable survey draft
  • Move into sampling and execution

These steps are surfaced back to you through conversation—not hidden inside the system.

You always keep control:

  • Confirm whether the goal is correct
  • Adjust wording and survey structure
  • Decide whether to proceed to sampling and distribution

Wejot translates your judgment into an executable workflow—rather than making decisions for you.

If you already have a research idea, you can start typing now.

No need to prepare a full plan. Wejot will take over from there.
