Distribution Overview

Once your survey is ready, this page helps you target the right audience and collect responses steadily.

Note

Once distribution starts, tasks may enter an execution queue and consumption is typically irreversible. Validate your survey with a small pilot first.

When your survey is ready, the next question is how to get the right people to fill it out.

In Wejot, “distribution” is not the same as “buying samples”. It means the full process of delivering the survey, collecting responses, and completing the recovery loop.

Wejot supports multiple distribution paths to fit different study contexts and resource constraints.

Broadly there are two main approaches:

  • Share the survey to your respondents
Best when you already have a respondent source, such as your community, offline events, or internal research.

  • Use the Wejot panel for distribution
Best when you need to quickly reach specific target segments, or to supplement your existing sample.

These approaches are not mutually exclusive. You can combine them within the same study.

Wejot - The distribution methods include link sharing and Wejot sample library.

In real projects, distribution strategy often evolves as the study progresses.

For example:

  • Collect some initial data via sharing
  • Use the panel to supplement specific segments
  • Add more distribution based on early quality signals

Wejot allows you to adjust distribution strategies at different stages.

Distribution is not an isolated step.

In Wejot:

  • Survey structure defines the respondent journey
  • Logic rules determine who can proceed
  • Distribution method determines how the survey is delivered

Together, they influence final data quality.

Once the survey enters distribution, you can keep track of:

  • Response count changes
  • Completion progress and rates
  • Whether strategy adjustments or sample supplementation are needed

Distribution is a process you can observe and iterate—not something locked in after you click “start”.

You can think of distribution as:

The stage where a designed study actually starts running in real people.

Whether you distribute via sharing or via the panel, Wejot supports the same downstream workflow for data collection and analysis.
