This page summarizes the most frequently asked questions when using Wejot. If you run into confusion, start here to see whether guidance already exists.
What is the biggest difference between Wejot and traditional survey tools?
Wejot is not built around “configuration panels”. It is a research assistant centered on an AI Agent.
You can describe your research intent in natural language, and the system helps you complete:
- survey design
- sampling and distribution
- analytics and insight reporting
The UI primarily presents results and states, rather than forcing you to configure everything from scratch.
Do I have to create surveys through conversation?
Yes. Every survey starts by establishing research intent and basic structure through conversation.
Based on that, you can enter the editor for refinement, but the editor is not a “start from zero” entry.
Can I modify a survey repeatedly?
Yes.
Before publishing, you can adjust content at any time via conversation or the editor. After publishing and collecting responses, edits create a new version, and historical data is preserved.
Do I have to use the Wejot panel?
No.
You can distribute via the panel, or you can:
- share survey links with your own users
- collect via mini-programs, communities, and other channels
The panel is only one of the options.
Why is collection speed sometimes inconsistent?
Collection speed depends on multiple factors, such as:
- scarcity of audience criteria
- survey length and completion time
- available reachable population size at the moment
This is normal and does not mean the distribution failed.
Can I refund already collected completes?
No.
Completes that are collected and pass review are settled based on actual valid completes. Unused budget is automatically refunded after settlement.
When can I start analyzing data?
Once responses pass review and enter an analyzable state, you can view and analyze data on the analytics page.
You do not need to wait for the full target to be completed.
Will conversational analytics modify raw data?
No.
All analysis is computed from raw data and does not alter the data itself. You can always inspect raw responses in the Data view.
Can I trust conclusions generated by AI?
AI does not provide a “final answer”. It provides analysis results and decision hints based on current data.
All conclusions are traceable to data evidence. You can validate, adjust analysis direction, or supplement sample as needed.
What formats can I export?
Wejot currently supports exporting:
- CSV (raw / coded)
- SPSS (SAV)
- attachment files for upload questions
Choose the format that fits your downstream usage.
Can I generate formal research reports?
Yes.
After analysis, you can organize insights into reports and export as:
- Word
- PPT
Report content can be adjusted before export.
Do I need a statistics or research background to use Wejot?
No.
Wejot is designed to make the workflow clearer rather than require users to master more tools.
If you have a research background, you can go deeper. If not, you can still complete a full study workflow successfully.
What if I encounter a question not covered in documentation?
You can describe your issue directly to the in-product AI assistant. It will provide guidance based on your current study context.
